An urgent reminder that Sponsors are required for the coming season. In particular, a Sponsor is required for the popular Dunstall Knockout Fortnight over the weeks commencing 23rd and 30th June. Sponsorship is required for the total prize money of £2,500.00. The Sponsor is guaranteed substantial coverage in the local press and will be able to erect advertising boards. Eight local teams (including Dunstall) will be competing. This is an excellent opportunity for a local company to be associated with one of the highlights of the local cricket season. Fundraising is essential for the Club. Planning Permission has just been obtained for an extension to the Clubhouse which will provide a larger lounge area and improved dressing rooms but this costs money! The Jennings clan are running a "100 Club". It costs £1 per week during the Season or £20 for the whole season. Further details are at the Bar.Our popular match day lunches get under way on 17th May. The game against Old Hill in the Cockspur Cup has had to be conceded because of this week-end's double header in the League. Although this potentially robs us of the chance of meeting up with Stuart Eustace and his Dorridge side in the next round we wish Old Hill the best of luck.
